A Dorset GP has admitted inappropriately touching three female staff members at a surgery in Poole.

Dr Ralph Vadas, who worked at the West Canford Heath Medical Centre, also admitted looking at pornographic images on his work computer and being drunk.

A General Medical Council (GMC) fitness to practise hearing is deciding whether he is guilty of misconduct.

The doctor was suspended by Bournemouth and Poole Primary Care Trust in 2008 following a series of complaints.

Dr Selva Ramasamy for the GMC told the hearing a receptionist saw images of "scantily clad, large women, on the computer at the surgery" and images which had been printed out, on the floor of Dr Vadas's room.

Computer experts working at the surgery also discovered pornographic images on his computer.

Dr Vadas admitted touching the buttocks of two women and putting his hand up another staff member's jumper, all without their consent.

He also admitted to having been drunk during practice hours at the surgery on occasions in 2007 and to misleading his supervisor as to his consumption of alcohol.

He denied an allegation that he masturbated in the kitchen of the surgery in 2008.

The offences allegedly took place over 12 years up to 2008. The London hearing is expected to last eight weeks.
