Popular Fitbit still cheaper after Amazon Prime Day ends
Amazon’s Prime Day sale may be over for another year, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t still bargains out there from the retailer. Prime Day can be tricky to navigate, given prices are consistently reduced on Amazon, which is still true this week for the Fitbit Inspire 3, which is £59.99 on sale, down from £84.99.
That’s £3 more than the popular fitness tracker was during last week’s Prime Day sale, but it shows buyers won’t necessarily save that much by buying up stuff during the annual event.
I’ve tested the Fitbit Inspire 3 extensively since its first release back in 2022, and it’s still a great choice for anyone who wants to track their steps, heart rate and runs but doesn’t want an expensive bells-and-whistles smartwatch.
I particularly appreciated the long battery life, which can be up to 10 days with light use. It consistently lasted a whole week on a full charge. Runners can also use the connected GPS feature to track runs while connected to a smartphone.
Those who prefer to leave their phone at home could instead opt for the Fitbit Charge 6, with its built-in GPS, for £20 more at £79.99 on sale at Amazon.
The Fitbit Inspire 3 is currently £59.99 from Amazon, and you don't need to be an Amazon Prime member to access the price.

The small black device is available for £59.99 with either a black or fun orange strap. The small colour display isn’t the best for reading your incoming texts on (though it can do this!), but at this price, the screen is great to have to keep an eye on the time and other key metrics such as step count throughout the day.
The Inspire 3 links to the Google Health app - previously the Fitbit app, but Google renamed it earlier this year - where wearers can view all their key stats collected by their device, showing a daily readiness score out of 100 based on data from the preceding hours and days.
Having such a slim, lightweight tracker means the Inspire 3 is comfortable to wear in bed. Fitbit’s sleep tracking is top-notch, and keeping an eye on my sleep quality has helped me rethink bedtimes and routines.
Perhaps best of all, the Inspire 3 can be used without a subscription. However, there is the option to pay for Google Health Premium, which adds a few features to the app, including the relatively new AI Coach, which automatically displays pointers and tips when the app is opened, with personalised advice based on user data.
Owners can also type to the Coach to let it know their goals, setbacks and habits, which makes the feature better.
This subscription costs £7.99 per month, but buying the Fitbit Inspire 3 for £59.99 nets buyers six months of Google Health Premium for free, so they can try out all the features of the app for half a year before deciding if they want to keep paying.
Amazon does not state how long the offer price on the Fitbit Inspire 3 will last, but it’s a surprisingly well-rounded fitness device at a very low price.
A solid alternative is the Huawei Band 10. It can track everything the Inspire 3 can, but has a larger AMOLED screen. It's currently £27.99 at Argos.
