Prime Video’s ‘Maxton Hall’ final season is set for a winter release
Ruby Bell and James Beaufort are coming back to the screens for one final time.
As per the latest announcement, the final season of "Maxton Hall — The World Between Us" is debuting in winter 2026.
During Prime Video's Obsessed Fest on Saturday, Damian Hardung revealed amid much fanfare that the third, and the final, season of "Maxton Hall" is slated to release in December 2026.
While the final airing date has not yet been revealed by the streamer, in a post on X, Prime Video also shared the update.
Sharing the first look posters of Ruby and James from the show, Prime Video wrote in caption: "School’s back in session. Maxton Hall, the final season. Coming in December."
Along with Hardung, who is reprising his role as James, Harriet Herbig-Matten is also coming back as Ruby for the final season.
Other stars returning for the third season includes, Sonja Weiber as Lydia, Ben Felipe as Cyril, Fedja van Huêt as Mortimer, Runa Greiner as Ember, Justus Riesner as Alistair, Andrea Guo as Lin, Frederic Balonier as Kieran, Eli Riccardi as Elaine, Eidin Jalali as Graham Sutton, Govinda Gabriel as Keshav Patel, and Dagny Dewath as Ophelia Beaufort.
"Maxton Hall," directed by Martin Schreier, follows the events of Mona Kasten's bestselling novel series of the same name. The first season, released in May 2024, focused on the first book, "Save Me." The next season focused on the events of the second book, "Save You," and third and upcoming installment will adapt the third book, "Save Us."
The young-adult series, originally in German, became one of Prime Video's most-watched International original series of all time and reached No. 1 on Prime Video charts in more than 120 countries.
As per the official synopsis, Season 3 will continue with the events from the end of Season 2. With Ruby's Oxford dream on hold following her expulsion from the school, the young couple navigates through the "enormous storms while the shadows of the past grow darker."
