Prince Harry
Reports are circulating that Prince Harry is keen to make a return to the UK, but Express readers have issued a stark message. The prince made a five-day trip back to the UK in July to mark the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games, sparking debate about whether he could come back more permanently. On the trip, he was joined by his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The Sussexes met with King Charles and Queen Camilla, who hosted them at Highgrove House. The monarch reunited with his two youngest grandchildren for the first time since 2022.
Here at the Daily Express, we launched a poll asking our readers whether Prince Harry should return to the UK for regular trips. The poll, which ran from 7am on Tuesday, August 7, until 3pm on Wednesday, August 19, found that 94% of people (3654 voters) do not believe he should.

This will no doubt be a blow for Harry, who will be hoping people are supportive of his potentially returning to the UK. Meanwhile, just 5% of people (201 voters) said Harry should make regular trips, while just 43 respondents said that they do not know.
A source close to the prince has revealed that Prince Harry is following “the way the wind is blowing”, and that he will want to be in the UK “more and more”.
Commenting their thoughts, readers have shared the reasons for their votes.
One person penned: “It’s a NO from me. Harry made his bed, so he must lie in it. We have a working Royal Family; Harry is not part of it.”
Another person wrote: “No! He should return and stay permanently with his family.”
A third person penned: “Asking these questions over and over again won’t change the result…He’s not wanted back under any circumstances at any time.”
Another reader said: “I don't much care so long as we don't pay for his 'protection'.”
Harry is expected back on British soil as early as September for a week-long stay focusing primarily on his charity commitments.
During that same recent stay, the Sussexes made a visit to Princess Diana's burial site at Althorp, where young Lilibet was seen carrying floral tributes.
The Duke is now pivoting his focus back to his royal patronages following his high-profile £50million High Court defeat against the publisher of the Daily Mail.
