Prince William reportedly only has one focus now as the next in line to the throne. The royal is allegedly focused on certain members of his family and is seemingly less concerned about patching things up with his brother, Prince Harry.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Phil Dampier, author of Royally Suited: Harry and Meghan in their own words, says: “Friends tell me that, as far as he is concerned, Harry is the past, and he is only concerned about the future for his wife Catherine and their children George, Charlotte and Louis.” A recent poll by YouGov revealed that Prince William is the favourite royal, and royal fans are already taking guesses about what he will be like as king.

William's position in the latest poll, which is run every three months to show changes in how the public views members of the Firm, puts the royal almost tied with his wife, Princess Catherine.
While Prince William has shown his commitment to the Royal Family, Prince Harry no longer serves as a working member of The Firm. Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties in 2020.
Prince Harry has spoken publicly about his hopes to reunite with his family, most notably in a BBC interview in May 2025. He said that any reconciliation would be in his family's hands, adding: “If they don't want that, that's entirely up to them.”
He added: “There have been so many disagreements, differences between me and some of my family.”
Another insider added that Harry and William’s relationship is “so broken,” reports Marie Claire. Prince Harry and Prince William were last seen together in public in September 2022.
The brothers did a joint walkabout with Meghan and Catherine to meet fans who had gathered outside Windsor Castle after Queen Elizabeth's death.
The relationship between the brothers reportedly first started to fracture around the time Prince Harry started dating Meghan Markle.
Tensions heightened after Harry and Megan's explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey and then again after the publication of Harry's book, Spare, in 2023, which unleashed a raft of damaging allegations against the Royal Family.
