Residents have given feedback on £5.1m renovation plans for the Forest Recreation Ground in Nottingham.

New changing facilities, a playground and a community garden are among the plans for the site in Radford.

The project has been put together by a multi-agency team, which includes the Partnership Council, the city council and a neighbourhood group.

A total of £2m is coming from the city council and £3.1m has been awarded by the Lottery.

The public consultation allowed people to give feedback on how the site would be used as a community hub.

A final set of plans will be drawn up in the autumn and submitted to the council and Lottery for approval.

Ruth Greenberg, from the Partnership Council, said: "We want the Forest to be a place that local people can enjoy every day, as well as being a great destination for the whole city to visit."
