Beyonce lookalike Rachael is the first evictee from the final Big Brother house.

The 23-year-old from Nottingham had faced the public vote in Friday night's live programme along with medical student Sunshine and squatter Shabby.

Welshman Dave had also been nominated for the axe, but won a task in which he saved himself at Rachael's expense.

Channel 4 is screening the 11th - and last - series of the reality show after it was axed last year.

Rachael, who also works as a hair stylist and received 38% of the total votes cast, said she was pleased by the response of the crowd outside the Big Brother house.

She said: "The reaction was great. Coming out, I was so scared that everyone would hate me.

"I didn't want to leave but I do feel that I'm not that girl I was when I walked in."

The winner of the current crop of housemates will be joined by previous winners and notable contestants to determine the ultimate Big Brother champion for a two-week special to mark its departure.

The opening to the current series attracted an audience of 5.1 million, slightly down on 2009.
