RAF Cosford Air Show to host Red Arrows
The Red Arrows will be performing at the RAF Cosford Air Show despite a mid-air crash in March.
The team was not expected at the Shropshire event after a pilot was injured in an incident involving two display planes over Kastelli, Crete.
The team's first display was due to be on 16 June to allow time for a replacement pilot to be fully trained.
But it will appear at Sunday's show after performing at the Queen's Birthday Flypast in London on Saturday.
Organisers of the RAF Cosford event said it would be the first opportunity for the public to meet Flt Lt Kirsty Moore, the first woman to fly as a member of the Red Arrows.
When the team has completed its display on Sunday, it will land at RAF Shawbury and return to Cosford to meet the public.
Red 1, Squadron Leader Ben Murphy, told the Red Arrows website: "We are delighted that we are able to start our display programme a week earlier than we previously planned.
"Our revised training schedule went well and we are all looking forward to starting the 2010 season."
