Russian missile, air bomb strikes kill 6 in Ukraine; fires reported in Kyiv
Russian attacks killed six people and wounded 20 in Ukraine's southeastern city of Zaporizhzhia early Tuesday, while strikes on Kyiv triggered fires in the capital, Ukrainian officials said. The latest attacks came as a Ukrainian drone strike killed one person and injured two others in Russia's Voronezh region overnight, according to regional authorities.Zaporizhzhia regional governor Ivan Fedorov said Russian forces used missiles and aerial bombs in attacks on the city.
Pictures posted by Fedorov showed buildings and vehicles ablaze.Air raid alerts were issued in both Zaporizhzhia and Kyiv. In the Ukrainian capital, the city's military administration said warehouses in a central district caught fire, while one person was reported injured.Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko said medical personnel had been sent to the affected central district.

Emergency services are on scene,” Gusev said.The latest exchanges followed a deadly Ukrainian attack on Monday on the petroleum hub of Nizhnekamsk in Russia's Tatarstan region.
Local authorities said 13 people were killed and 78 wounded, making it one of the deadliest attacks in Russia in the four-year-old war.The Ukrainian military said it had struck an oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk, about 1,200 kilometres from the Ukrainian border.
