Workers have been threatened with a weapon during a robbery at a Nottinghamshire shop.

Two youths, one believed to be armed with a BB gun, entered Chilwell Stores on High Road, Chilwell, on Saturday afternoon.

They demanded cigarettes but left empty-handed. They ran off in the direction of School Lane.

No-one was injured during the incident. The male offenders are thought to be aged between 14 to 16.

They were both wearing dark clothing, sunglasses and purple stockings over their faces.
