TalkTV star lashes out at Labour in migrant fury –
Andy Burnham and his Labour government have been slammed for spelling out expectations on sex and consent for asylum seekers. The decision of handing out "a guide" was deemed as "an admission of guilt" as TalkTV presenter Samara Gill discussed the matter with host Kevin O'Sullivan.
The Home Office has issued a nine-page pamphlet titled "Understanding behaviours and expectations in the UK: a guide for asylum seekers", telling refugees not to rape or sexually harass people, including partners and children. Kevin questioned: "If you have to tell someone it's illegal to rape children in Britain, then you shouldn't let them in the country, should they?" The staggering advice even details what rape is, insisting that "consent" is needed in every sexual situation. The guidance published adds: "In the UK, people must say 'yes' to sex. This is called consent."

SHOCKING: “This government booklet on ‘how not to rape women’ is an ADMISSION of GUILT by Shabana Mahmood and the Labour government.”

Samara responded: "It really is an admission of guilt from the Home Office, because what they're actually saying is everything that the audience has been crying out about and that is an actual thing, and we've been saying for years that there is a sex crime epidemic that is overtaking the country.
"All of that has now just been confirmed by this pamphlet."
She believed the government was beating around the bush, adding: "It's like 'Welcome to Britain, here's your asylum paper, your accommodation information and apparently a cartoon explaining why you mustn't have sex with children. It's seriously ridiculous."
Kevin then read out the Home Office's guidelines on domestic abuse, which outlines "regardless of their gender, age or background, a domestic abuse includes physical violence hitting, pushing, kicking, or any physical harm or threats".
He commented: "It's like we are teaching these people or giving them a pamphlet saying, 'this is a pamphlet to help you be a decent human being'."
Online viewers expressed their thoughts on the Home Office guidelines, with one saying: "We don’t want people who think it’s ok to rape in our country. End of."
Another wrote: "It’s an admission of complete failure and dereliction of duty. The public are not protected! We need a government that stops mass, uncontrolled migration. We need a General Election as soon as possible."
A Home Office spokesperson said: "We expect everyone who comes to the UK to abide by our laws. If they do not, they will face consequences, including the refusal of their asylum claim and removal from the UK.
"Returns of failed asylum-seekers have reached their highest level since 2010 under this government."
Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood also wrote on social media today, confirming the number of migrants being deported, saying: "Today's figures show more than 80,000 immigration offenders, foreign criminals and failed asylum seekers have been returned since July 2024."
