Just a few months after Taylor Frankie Paul‘s season of The Bachelorette was canceled, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star has reportedly checked into rehab.

First reported by TMZ and confirmed by People, Paul made the decision to check herself into a “voluntary” stay “upon the recommendation of her doctor.”

“She’s committed to getting better,” the source told People.

“She is focused on doing the work with her mental health professionals and checked in for a voluntary stay,” a source echoed those sentiments to Us Weekly. “She has since been cleared and departed. Her priority remains doing the work on her mental health and being a good mom.”

Her close friends and family have reportedly been by her side too. “The people around Taylor want her to get help,” the People source said, adding “[they] want to see her get better.”

As a reminder, Paul shares 2-year-old son Ever with Dakota Mortensen, and daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 6, with her ex-husband, Tate Paul. Throughout her tumultuous few months, the children have been a priority. “Everyone is just trying to protect the kids,” the insider said.

Months before her alleged rehab stint, Paul was the subject of two investigations that were opened in February 2026 relating to alleged altercations with Mortensen, per People. One investigation was opened after a friend of Mortensen reported that he had “been the victim of a domestic violence assault by an ex-girlfriend at her Draper residence.” The second was opened after Mortensen submitted a video, which police believed was dated to “early-to-mid 2024.”

The video, which was then obtained by TMZ, prompted the cancellation of Paul’s season of The Bachelorette.

By March 19, Mortensen filed for a protective order against Paul. She filed for one of her own against her ex on April 7. That same day, Mortensen was granted custody of their son, Ever, with Paul allowed up to eight hours per week of visitation supervised by a paid supervisor or someone vetted by the guardian ad litem.

Most recently, Page Six reports that sources claim Taylor had violated their dual protective orders due to her plans to go to rehab. Taylor allegedly had a third party reach out to a third party to set up visitation with Ever in an attempt to make up for a visit she missed while in rehab. That communication is a violation of their restraining orders.

Per the outlet, the Bluffdale Police Department in Utah has received that allegation and is currently investigating whether she breached the order.
