Police have established the identity of a cyclist whose body was found beside a road on Teesside.

The discovery, on the A174 in Loftus Bank, Redcar, at 1530 BST on Thursday, sparked an appeal for information, and Cleveland Police issued a description.

He has now been named as John Grace, aged 51 and from the Middlesbrough area.

It is believed he died of natural causes and the coroner has been informed.
