Temperamental Soprano Kathleen

Temperamental soprano Kathleen Battle may have been banished from the Metropolitan Opera, but she is hardly out of the limelight. With her latest CD, the silvery-voiced singer returns to familiar territory: "Honey and Rue," a song cycle composed by Andre Previn with text by Toni Morrison, and commissioned for Battle by Carnegie Hall in 1992.
