The Slavonic Dances won so much acclaim for Antonin Dvorak and made him so much money, that his publisher was anxious for him to crank out some more light music that could be sold in orchestral form or for piano duet. In 1881 he did just that. We'll hear one of that set, the Legend No. 5 performed by the Czecho-Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra. Stephen Gunzenhauser (GOON-tsen-howzer) conducts. (Naxos 8.550266)
