A third person has been arrested and bailed in connection with the death of a cyclist in Essex.

Insurance assessor Steven Rodway, 38, of Brentwood, died in Ongar Road, Stapleford Tawney, on 13 June.

A man, 46, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and has been released until September.

A woman and a man arrested earlier on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving have also been bailed. Police are keen to speak to witnesses.

The crash happened at 1910 BST near the Passingford Bridge roundabout.

Mr Rodway had been riding a red mountain bike. A blue Transit van and silver Puma were also involved, police said.

Mr Rodway, a father to two young daughters, had been in training for a charity bike ride when he died, his widow said.
