Three Birmingham men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was shot in Stoke-on-Trent.
The man, in his early 60s, suffered a leg injury in the incident outside his Chaplin Road home in Normacot, Stoke-on-Trent, on 4 June.
A 31-year-old man from Bordesley Green, a 33-year-old from Small Heath, and an 18-year-old from Erdington, are being held.
They were arrested at their home addresses early on Friday.
The men were held in a pre-planned operation involving officers from Staffordshire and the West Midlands.
A vehicle was also seized as part of the operation, Staffordshire police said.
