One person has tragically died and two others rushed to hospital following a reported stabbing in Shepherd's Bush, West London. Emergency services raced to Askew Road on Tuesday morning (August 18), after the London Ambulance Service received reports of a stabbing at 8.22am.
Three people were treated at the scene, with two taken to hospital and a third pronounced dead despite the efforts of emergency crews, who had arrived in less than five minutes. Ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer were deployed, while London's Air Ambulance was also dispatched. Metropolitan Police officers attended the incident, with a significant cordon put in place in the area as emergency services remained at the scene. According to MyLondon, a forensic tent was also spotted at the scene.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 8.22am today to reports of a stabbing on Askew Road, W12.
"We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
"Our first crews arrived in less than five minutes.
"We treated three people in total. We took two patients to hospital but sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a patient was pronounced dead at the scene.”
The Daily Express has contacted Metropolitan Police for further information about the incident and to establish whether any arrests have been made.
