The family of a man who died while out cycling near the Hampshire-Berkshire border has paid tribute to him.
Malcolm Lewis, 60, of Woodlands Road, Hampshire, was part of a group of cyclists who left the Pineapple pub in Brimpton Common, Berkshire, on 3 June.
The group headed along Hockford Lane towards Ashford Hill when Mr Lewis fell from his bike. He sustained severe head injuries and died in hospital.
His family said they took comfort from the fact he died "doing what he loved".
Mr Lewis's family added: "Malcolm sadly passed away after a tragic pedal cycling accident.
"Although he will be sadly missed, we have comfort in knowing he died doing something he loved.
"He leaves behind a wife, daughter, son and grandchild."
