Two men have been charged with burglary at a Suffolk electricity substation, during which a man was electrocuted.

Jonathan Ehlert, 30, from Ipswich, died during a suspected break-in at the substation in Ransomes Way, Ipswich, on 14 April.

A 27-year-old and a 30-year-old, both from Ipswich, have each been charged with two counts of burglary with intent to steal.

They will appear at South East Suffolk Magistrates Court on 16 June.

A Suffolk police spokeswoman said a 24-year-old man from Ipswich who was due to answer bail in connection with the incident was unable to attend.

"Arrangements will be made to see him ASAP," she said.
