Vergo department stores to close down

Two department stores in Norfolk are to close later after the company that owns them went into administration.

The Vergo stores in Great Yarmouth's Market Place and St Stephens Street, Norwich, will shut at the end of trading.

MCR, administrators for Vergo, said stores in Felixstowe, Suffolk and Clacton, Essex, will also close.

All Vergo stores will be closed by 26 June if no buyer for the group is found.
