A draft plan for a multi-million pound project to repair and improve the historic Felixstowe Seafront Gardens is going on display.

Residents and visitors are being asked for their views at a two-day exhibition at Felixstowe Town Hall on 16/17 July.

It is organised by Suffolk Coastal Council with architects Lanarca and the Friends of Felixstowe Seafront Gardens.

Mary Neale, from the Council, said it was "a great opportunity" for residents to have their say.

The outline masterplan consists of an overarching drawing that includes design proposals for development and restoration.

Proposals so far include restoring heritage buildings, improving accessibility and lighting and creating a visitor and education centre.

After the public exhibition next month, an outline plan will go to the Heritage Lottery Fund.
