We Celebrate The Holidays
We celebrate the holidays with a new sound for the season: A String Quartet Christmas. The same folks behind one of the hit CDs of the 1995 season, "Rejoice! A String Quartet Christmas," violinists Arturo Delmoni (del-MOH-nee) and Alexander Romanul (roh-MAH-nool), violist Katherine Murdock, and cellist Nathani(el Rosen, join Martin in NPR's Studio 4A for some wassail without words. Selections include "Here we come a wassailing," "Bring a Torch," Coventry Carol, "It Came upon a Midnight Clear," a new holiday carol by Anthony Hopkins called "Gaudeamus," "Lo, How a Rose e'er Blooming," and a medley of "Joy to the World," "The First Noel,"" Deck the Hall," "O Come All Ye Faithful," and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas."
