Who left the Love Island villa tonight? Islanders erupt into chaos as favourites get dumped
Things are hotting up in the Love Island villa, after Tommy and Tina were voted the least favourite Islanders by the public's most favourite Islanders.
ICYMI, the public were given the opportunity to vote for their favourite male and female Islander from this year's cast. They chose Ellie and Lorenzo, who were then given the trickiest task of all: To choose two Islanders from the bottom six favourites to go home.
The three women in the bottom were Lola, Priya and Tina. The three men in the bottom were Tommy, Aidan and Simba.
"I hope everyone can appreciate how difficult this decision has been for Ellie and I," Lorenzo told them. "It's made us feel sick that we have to decide the fate of two of our fellow Islanders that we've grown close to."
He said it wasn't an easy decision, and that he loved and appreciated all six of the people who were stood in front of them. In the end, Ellie and Lorenzo came to a decision and decided to dump. Those two Islanders were Tommy and Tina.
Sorry, but is anyone else slightly sick of the fact the b0mbshells keep getting dumped at every available opportunity? Like, Aidan's not in a hugely strong couple either - and this is exactly what Halle was getting at. Hmm.
Speaking about his exit, Tommy said, "I think my time was up! I explored every option in there and left no stone unturned. Based on the current girls in there, there wasn’t really a connection there for me. It’s sad to be leaving, I made some great connections, especially with the boys, some friends for life!
"It’s mixed emotions, the journey was great but ultimately it’s a place to find love so if there’s nothing in there in a romantic aspect you’re better off being outside. I have no regrets."
On how she was feeling to leave the villa, Tina added, " A bit sad because I haven’t found the love of my life, but I enjoyed the experience, so I don’t actually care. I’ve just had a really good time. I’m going to miss it. It’s an experience that I’ve never had before, so I’m really happy I did it!"
