A man has been treated in hospital after he was the victim of what North Wales Police called a serious assault in his home.

Officers are appealing for witnesses after the man, in his 20s, was assaulted by what police believe was four or five people.

It happened in Marsh Road, Rhyl, Denbighshire, between 2100 - 2300 BST on Tuesday, 8 June.

Police said the attackers may have spent time in the area beforehand.

All the offenders were described as dressed in dark clothing.

Police want any witnesses to contact them on 101, 0845 6071002 (English language line), 0845 6071001 (Welsh language line), or Crimestoppers Wales on 0800 555111.
