A week-long crackdown on antisocial behaviour has been launched by a Surrey council.

Woking Borough Council (WBC) said over 200 cases were reported in the borough in 2025/2026, ranging from noisy neighbours to obstructive parking.

It said it would work with ASB Help, a national charity which helps to support the victims of antisocial behaviour, with a week of awareness due to begin on Monday.

WBC said it had committed to actions including improving how cases are handled, the importance of listening to victims and ensuring accessibility for all residents.

Councillor Steve Greentree, Woking Borough Council's portfolio holder for communities, said: "Antisocial behaviour can have a significant impact on people's quality of life, and signing the pledge is our way of ensuring Woking residents feel heard and supported when they report concerns.

"The council is committing to following best practice so we can deliver better outcomes for those affected by ASB and ensure no one is left feeling ignored."

A spokesperson for ASB Help said: "We are delighted that Woking Borough Council has renewed its commitment to strengthening its ASB Case Review process."

Residents in the borough experiencing the effects of ASB are encouraged to speak to the council.
