Winless Barrow Raiders' late fightback was to no avail as Faye Barraclough's four second-half tries helped Huddersfield Giants to a 30-24 away victory.

The home side led the Giants 14-10 at the break thanks to two tries from Emma Hutchinson and one from Leah Clough.

The Giants opened and closed the scoring in the first 40 minutes through Jess Harrap and Tegan Slant and Barraclough then scored her four tries in 25 second-half minutes to take the game away from Barrow.

Leah Cotter and Hutchinson's hat-trick effort cut the deficit in the final minutes but there was no time for a final score to tie the match and the Raiders have now lost six from six in Women's Super League.

Nathan Graham's side stay fifth in the eight-team division after a third win of the year.
