WWE 2K26 WrestleMania 42 DLC pack release date, time and glaring omission
Wrestling fans are about to get a new content drop on WWE 2K26 but there’s one major exclusion that has gamers frustrated. The WrestleMania 42 DLC pack will drop this week and include new personas for some of the roster’s biggest stars.
Gamers won’t have to wait long to get their hands on the new content. Although it’s been a while since the dust settled from WrestleMania in Las Vegas, the pack offers a blend of themed items to celebrate the biggest WWE show of the year. Here’s everything you need to know.

The WrestleMania 42 DLC pack will be available this week and is included in the Monday Night War Edition of WWE 2K26. Owners of all other editions will need to purchase it separately for £8.99.
It’s set for release on Wednesday, August 19 but 2K Games is yet to confirm an exact release time. Anyone who has pre-ordered it, or those Monday Night War Edition owners, will likely be able to download it between 3pm and 6pm BST as this has been the typical window new content becomes available in 2K26.

Fans have spoken out about one thing missing from the DLC pack that’s “highly sought after”. That is the inclusion of a returning superstar who made a triumphant comeback at this year’s Showcase of the Immortals in Vegas.
WWE 2K26 players on Reddit have hit out at British star Paige’s return not being included in the pack. The youngest Divas champion in history when she won the belt aged 21, Paige stepped in to partner Brie Bella at WrestleMania when her twin sister Nikki was injured.
One Reddit user made their disappointment clear, saying: “Should’ve got Paige in.” Another added: “I thought she came back soon enough to where she'd be a late DLC release like Danhausen and Royce Keys. She's highly sought after and requested, so maybe they find a way to put her in late for some extra money.
“But, more than likely, she'll have to wait until the next game. They're not going to give you everything each year. They need to keep interest up.”
A third joked: “Gotta buy the ringside pass next year to unlock her probably.” Finally, another said: “I can understand why people would be disappointed about Paige not being added, but I can’t help but feel like they’re probably just saving her for 27, since they’re going to have to remove A LOT of people in 27.”
