“Police were called at 12.06pm this afternoon (Friday 21 August), to a report of a collision in the car park of Morrisons on Walpole Road.”

“It was reported that a grey Kia Soul was driven into the car park before colliding with two pedestrians and several other parked and moving vehicles.”

“One of the pedestrians, a woman in her 80s, was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.”

“A second person reported minor injuries.”

“We are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a fatal collision in Gosport.”
